How do I Activate a Trial or Evaluation
After installation, you must enter the activation key received at the time of purchase. When prompted with the trial period notification, you must click the “Add Key Code” button and enter your activation key exactly* as is written on your purchase confirmation email. This will overwrite the trial key and activate PC Backup 10.

* Make sure to include the hyphens and use the number “0” not the letter “O”.

What user account do I specify in the Schedule Options?
In PC Backup 10 you are able to specify the user account to run the scheduled backup job. This change is only necessary for certain types of backups, particularly scheduled backup jobs involving network paths. For any other types of backups these fields can be left blank and PC Backup 10 will run the backup with the Local System Settings.

When filling out these fields, the domain name is typically the name of your computer. The user name field should be filled with a different user other than the user account currently in use. The password is the password of the user account being logged in as.

I am trying to install PC Backup 10 and receive an error message…
If you are receiving an error during the installation of PC Backup 10, this typically means that there is a conflict with another application installed on the computer. This may also occur if you have a previous version of PC Backup installed. Uninstall previous versions of PC Backup via the Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista), before installing PC Backup 10.
